P.S. I know I said in the video that it doesn't matter how much of the glow-in-the-dark paint you add, but I think adding a little bit more than I did will give it a more intense glow!! I only added several drops, and it didn't glow as much as I would have liked it to.
HAVE FUN!! Don't forget to wash your hands! ;-)
Written Instructions
- 1 teaspoon Borax
- 3/4 cup water (warm, but not so hot that it'll burn your hand)
- 1/4 cup glue (recommended: clear, transparent, liquid, Elmer's glue; opaque glue will make slime have a "white, creamier look")
- Measuring cups (1/2 and 1/4)
- 2 containers/bowls (large enough to hold the liquid)
- Something to mix contents with (i.e. stirring stick, or plastic cutlery)
- Glitter (optional)
- Glow-In-The-Dark Paint (Optional)
- Food Coloring (Optional, I used a "mint green")
- Plastic bag, or airtight container to hold the slime after you're done playing with it (so it doesn't dry out)
1. Mix 1 teaspoon of Borax and 1/2 cup of water into container #1 (shown on the left)
- 1/4 cup glue
- 1/4 cup water
- 2-3 drops of food coloring
- glitter
- glow-in-the-dark paint (make sure you add lots so that it has an INTENSE GLOW!). I made the mistake of not adding enough and it didn't glow very well. Don't make this same mistake! ;-)
